A modern faerytale

Today marked the royal wedding of the century, displaying not only to love and happiness, yatta yatta yatta, but the fabulous work of Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen! Fashionistas everywhere rejoice...

Due to having school and my teacher denying us to turn the tv on (much to my sadness and dismay), I completely missed the kiss! But that's ok...best wishes to the newlyweds.

A lazy last day of break...

The last day of break was uneventful as the previous...my sister went back to M-town, homework needed finished, and pictures taken before the rain set in...

Opted for comfort and bows...

  

I made new friends :)

Happy Easter!

To my utter happiness, my older sister came home for the Easter hols! We each received some numnums albeit they were not in baskets...but who can turn down Gardner's s'mores?! :)

A whirlwind of events and predictably dreary weather called for a temporary stop to pictures (although the style must go on, camera or no). On Friday I attended a drag show, which I must say, has definitely knocked my confidence in heels down a few pegs...those Queens knew how to dance in those heels and my hat's off to them!

Today's forecast was... 90% chance of rain. There was that 10% that it would not, but before school had let out, that chance was obliterated.

That did not deter me today...

A walk down history's past...

Once again it was a beautiful day...highs in the 70s even by 8 pm. Our end-of-the-year wrestling banquet had just ended and my lovely and I were ready to hit the parks!

The Kiss

My lovely and I did a re-enactment of this iconic post World War II image.

After a temporary hiatus...

...of both the sun and I. A rough patch of days called for a few days off...
The sky finally cleared on Thursday and we're expected to have a high of 72° today so moods shall definitely be improved and fashion lovers can rejoice for a chance to show off a little smile in the sunshine along with their ensemble.

My lovely and I went on a crisp walk to the parks in celebration of the delicious weather...

 I love my new blazer with its pink pinstripes :)
