April Adventures (Flashback 10)

Perhaps these flashbacks are becoming superfluous, but 10 seems like a nice rounded number at which to stop...

In looking back, so much has happened, yet when placing words to pixelized screen seems a near impossible task, a summation so easily done, but not nearly as satisfying as picking my brain apart for memories, clues, ramblings...

April is always a busy time, true even now, a year after these initial endeavors were experienced....

April 2014 was no exception: hanging with friends in Baltimore to support their band, Sigma Alpha Pi induction, cooking for a new [this word does not feel right] beau, tears of joy and sorrow, VALLEYFEST, and almost getting a concussion [I mentioned my reckless behavior, no?].

Paradrei = drei Freunden und eine guten Nacht

When we kinda-sorta-maybe-just an inkling like-ish someone, we do crazy things, such as plan a surprise visit to a shady little garage in downtown York with the help of the aforementioned someone's roommate.

The night ended with: "we should probably leave, like right now, before we hear gunshots."

Fajer and I off on an adventure to the shooting range. The new 9mm packed quite the whollop of kickback...not that I'm complaining. The zombies on our targets never knew what was coming ;)

Love and Theft came for this year's ValleyFest and dang. Quite a lovely crowd - not too overbearing nor rowdy. I have limited country tastes but I have noticed that country concerts, while lively, are also contained and not as crazy as others...

Perks to being in this committee: being the runner for some hotties.

Sammy Arriaga and I became fast friends.

The end of the night ended with a meet-and-greet with the country stars. I'd call it a pretty damn good night.

<please don't touch me like that with your hand on your crotch>
Inner thoughts....Mike Stud was...bearable.

These are where my thoughts trail off...nothing too noteworthy, I guess, until Canada. However, friends are friends and are wonderful always.

End of the year VF dinner with my lovely co-chairman of Children's Activities

Sassy Sasquatch with Senioritis (Flashback 9)

In looking back at these first few weeks back, I was indeed, a wild child. Feeling as though I could sink no lower after wrecking my car [I now can identity with the expression of being hit by a Mack truck], I may have been a tad overzealous and none-too-caring for myself.

C'est ma vie.

Lovely came up to see EchoSmith(!) as part of the MTV's Artist to watch tour that started with last year's ValleyFest. VP to boot last year! Mega feels and nerves - he managed to bring me back down to that shy 13 yr old I was when I first met he when he grabbed my hand, the years of confidence I had acquired since being shattered like glass upon the cold, hard cement floor.

He was no knight in shining armor, but held me together as my happiness began to dwindle with the return to the States. Wobbly, sure, but at least the jelloid within my body stayed barred up with the stability our friendship brought.

Ring Pop Hubby

Now a self-classified chubby wubby, my confidence still faltered as I continued my plight against the ungodly weight I had gained from my travels. Running in the rain and in the cold darkness, a few trips in said darkness, and sore muscles seemed like a small price to pay in my effort to slim back down...

English girls reunited!

Making new friends and keeping touch with the ones who never lost touch despite the distance sure helped in with my acceptance that I could be happy in the States again...even without the haggis and Tubourgs.

The Italian Stallion.
Good friends are the crux of life and a crutch for the bad times. Grateful, happy for new friends, yet left with a nagging feeling of insecurity and uncertainty of what the future brings academically, professionally, romantically...

S'mores in the cabbage patch

Happy birthday to my beautiful older sister! Jordan and i are having a sisters' date at her favorite restaurant, Houlihan's, in Hershey! Going to be fat kids and eat a delicious meal and s'mores for dessert! Mmmmm

My sister, despite her flaws [no one's excempt from those, conflabbit], she's truly amazing. She has a downright hilarious sense of humor and shares many of the same likes...our fashion style may differ [she's the All-American beauty/girl-next-door/timeless, where i'm more the "trendy" one who mixes prints like i have 80s swag], but we're tighter than a brand new Pinger i.e. hair-tie.

I look up to this strong woman...figuratively. Sorry, Sissy, i'm the taller one! She's a triple threat....brains, beauty, and brawn. No, i'm not selling her off for an eHarmony ad. Trust me, she doesn't need an online profile. Although...you'll find this beautiful scientist in the lab ;) haha just kidding, just kidding.

I have some of my favorite pics with her on my wall at school....

Family vacation at Bethany Beach

Our first picture together :)

My brainy Salutatorian Sissy

During her college days....inseparable

Ever supportive of her little Sister :) night of my graduation

Love you, Sissy!

I'm off to meet the birthday girl! I'm hoping she likes her birthday prezzies....if not, *shaking my fist*

Haha have a lovel-E evening!

Love like this...

Happy Sibling Day!! Give your goofball brother or sister a hug today!

I was such a goonie kid...and my sister was gorgey as ever. This was sixth grade for me and her first year of college.

Bruise on my arm from wrestling...but the two of us make such an interesting pair.

She took me NYC and my first Broadway play!!

Such a gorgey pair if i do say so myself...which i do. So cliché to say and to add that, but that's what i did. This was just last year....

Two sets of siblings! Chester Street sisters :)

Sixth grade spring dance...she helped me get ready and her friend Sam did my hair :) we've had such fond memories and i must say, she's one of my best friends. Remember how i said it's a good thing to have more than one best friend?? Sometimes one needs more than one...it'd take more than one person to keep me in line. Trust me, my mummy's tried haha

I love my Sissy with all my heart...yes, i gush like a 5 year old.

.....and i could damn near pass for 15 :P

Goodness, what a blistery day.

Back to my routine...my clothes are still setting on the extra bed since i haven't mustered up the energy to hang them. Yet.

Sissy gave me some swag...jewelry. I love her style. My nails look strange. I had gold glittery smothering them in a pretty way. It doesn't sound very pretty at all, and it was a pain in the arse to take off, but it looked lovely. I didn't like the texture, though :/

Ready for no pants Wednesday tomorrow!! No....that does not mean going nude. No pants Wednesday is for shorts, skirts, dress, kilt....no pants! Leggings are not pants, but they shouldn't be worn as such either. Leggings and a tunic, ok; leggings with a normal-length shirt, not ok. Cover your tucus.

Have a lovel-E night.
