I'll be your Conversed Juliet teenage dream

Today's outfit of the day caption on Instagram...and certainly how I feel today.

In relationships, I strive to be my best....to give nothing but the whole of my heart and hope I'm achieving this, placing my heart in the branches, so to speak, of my dear Tree. It can be terrifying to grant such trust to someone, even if it's not the utmost maximum....vulnerability has never been one of my strong points, preferring to create a formidable stronghold, impenetrable to all but the one brave warrior daring to go where few have been before.

However, in relinquishing a little bit of this hold on ourselves, opening up, can be a truly beautiful thing. It allows us to open up to not just another person, but the world of possibilities. There is a vast world out there waiting for exploration....I know I have much more than 90% left to roam, despite TripAdvisor telling me I've traversed across 10%.

I'm coming to learn more about myself as I learn to accept myself as my Tree has accepted me. I'm not perfect, but I can remain in a state of improvement and growth, fighting tooth and nail to remain out of the darkness that can consume - the darkness of self-doubt and fear.

I'm ready to take on all of what life throws at me, particularly any self-inhibitors. Bows and a bold lippy go a long way with confidence, as I've learned.

Not letting my insecurities bog me down. 1XX lbs but I feel weightless as my wings spread, ready to soar!

Tonight's collection...Linkin Park's Recharged, A Rocket to the Moon's Wild Fire, and A Fine Frenzy's One Cell in the Sea.

A Fine Frenzy seems like an illustrious label for my life. Hectic but full of wonderful things.

This made me laugh and I thought it was worth sharing.

As well as this!!!!!
All of their covers and originals are worth sharing!!

Goodnight, sleep tight. Time to curl up with the thriller I'm reading: The Devil's Star by Jo Nesbø.

Final Friday Favorites of 2012

Tis Friday at last....although I haven't much about which to complain; it's been a fairly smooth week without conventional work. Just busy busy busy with the holidays and shoveling. I honestly love shoveling. It's a great workout and for somre reason, I just like doing it.....strange.
It's the last Friday of 2012 [as indicated by the post title] and only a few days until the new year....what will you be doing for New Year's Eve?? How 'bout watching the movie? Fun movie, along with Valentine's Day [even though I don't celebrate that terribly commercialized holiday but enough on that].

Hmmm...perhaps it should be the favorites of the year:

  • Going to the beach with Lovely

  • My sissy being with me all the way

    • Lady A, Darius Rucker, and Thompson Square concert!

  • Being accepted into the Kingston University in London for study abroad
Cheesy American stereotypical London pic c/o Google images
  • Beautiful Tiffany's ring from my Nana

  • Alumni band
  • All-American Rejects and A Rocket to the Moon concert

  • Valleyfest!

  • Discovering Tard the grumpy cat

  • Not to appear self-centered, but my birthday makes the list despite the raging storm on that day. Being surrounded by friends, what could be a better way of spending the day indoors?

  • Horseback riding tour in Gettysburg

  • Riding a camel at the Philly Zoo

  • NeverShoutNever concert

  • The other concerts with Lovely...Warped Tour in Buffalo, The Band Perry, Hot Chelle Rae

  • Winter Formal 2012: An International Affair

  • Halloween time spent with Lovely

  • Chewbacca hat!

I felt so modern with my outfit yesterday....Mia2 boots [gift from Nana for 19th bday], PacSun tights [gift from Lovely], H&M skirt, Express sweater [gift from Sissy], handmade bracelet [gift from Mum], Tiffany's ring [gift from Nana], and Chewie hat [gift from Lovely].

Tonight my bestie and I are totally geeking out by having a sleepover, exchanging prezzies, and having a LOTR trilogy marathon! Woot woot! Let the nostalgia begin with the Heidi and Jill sleepover traditions :)

I believe one is never too old for sleepovers with one's bestie.

Now...debating on whether or not I should get out of bed yet....

All my loves in one week....

Lovely and i went to Chameleon Club last night to see A Rocket to the Moon and The All-American Rejects :)  ever have that giddy feeling when you meet some of your favorite bands?? Ooooh my, oh my, oh my. I was giddy all day and soo excited for the concert and was jumping around all day, all jittery, waiting for Lovely to come and pick me up!

The show was great! I'll upload some videos later...i'm a sleepy bunny...again.

After being pushed and shoved during the concert [mean crazy girls! We're all excited!!], we had the chance to meet and greet with A Rocket to the Moon! Whirlwind of autographs and guitar-pick tosses and pics....Eric liked my Steve Maddens! Wooo! We talked about Steve Madden shoes....

From left, clockwise: Eric Halvorsen and me; Andrew Cook and me; Justin Richards and me; and Andrew Cook and Lovely

A lady had an extra wristband to meet the All-American Rejects so i stood in line and had the chance to meet them!

A bit overboard on the pics maybe......Nick Wheeler kept looking at me whilst i was waiting in line alone :) ....poor Lovely was booted out because he did not have a wristband and told the security guard to make sure i didn't leave the line because i didn't want to meet them without him. They're one of his favorite bands!

Tyson was really chill and loved my roommate leaf ring! Oh my, so giddy just retelling haha. I got hugs from them! Soooo made my night haha. I went down the stairs [walking, not running, because i'm a total klutz] and jumped into Lovely's arms.

I was such a girl when i got into the car....i started crying!

The attire for the night....mainly b&w
Lovely rust-cowprint truck in downtown Lancaster.
Lovely backed up down the street so i could capture its magnificence.
Thoroughly impressed by my quesadilla!
I like my quesadillas made with loving care.

But we have matching shirts now :)

My picks! haha. I was decked out with my A Rocket to the Moon tee and All-American Rejects wristband and glitter nail polish.

Today was a wonderful day.
