Today we honor those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks, as well as those who gave their lives trying to save and rescue survivors in the wreckage. Today we pay homage and reflect on what it means to be an American. We may not agree with everything our government does [one cannot please everyone, since there's always someone bellyaching] but it's incredible the amount of nationalism and compassion shown towards fellow citizens. We're reminded that we are One Nation and how closely knit this country is/needs to be/should be in order to get through tough times.
We are fighters.
